Why was 3RIDES Gravel Ostbelgien postponed?
Unfortunately, the late summer date after the European Championships did not work out as well as we had hoped, both for us and for you.
We are in good discussions with the local authorities to announce a precise date for the event soon. However, in light of the recent tragic events and devastating forest fires in East Belgium, the region is currently facing entirely different challenges.
It is important for us to handle this exceptional situation respectfully and to focus entirely on managing the crisis on site. We deeply regret the immense ecological damage in this wonderful natural region. At this point, we would like to express our deep respect and gratitude to all rescue workers and volunteers who are performing superhuman feats these days.
