3RIDES Gravel Ostbelgien: FAQ

3RIDES Gravel Ostbelgien will take place from Friday, September 4, 2026 to Sunday, September 6, 2026.

3RIDES Gravel Ostbelgien adopts the format of Gravel Winterberg: the Gravel Stage Race. The three stages take place from Friday to Sunday. It is possible to book each day individually or to participate in the entire Stage Race and compete for overall victory.

In the first stage, participants cover 23 km and 300 vertical meters in a gravel time trial.

The distance of the stages on Saturday and Sunday depends on the age group of the participants.

Stage 2 on Saturday covers 36.5 km and 450 vertical meters. The 50w+ and 60m+ age groups complete two laps (73 km, 900 vertical meters), while the Elite AK up to 49w and 59m age groups complete three laps (109.5 km, 1,350 vertical meters).

Stage 3 on Sunday is 47 km long and has 750 vertical meters. The 50w+ and 60m+ age groups complete two laps (94 km, 1,500 vertical meters), while the Elite AK up to 49w and 59m age groups complete three laps (141 km, 2,250 vertical meters).

Start times may be subject to minor changes for organizational reasons.

In addition to the official Stage Race, Unsupported Gravel Rides with distances over 100, 150, and 200 km will also take place on Saturday and Sunday. More information about the rides can be found here.

At the 3RIDES Gravel Stage Race Ostbelgien, there are daily rankings based on the results of all starters in each stage. Additionally, there is an overall ranking determined by adding the riding times of the three individual stages.

Each stage can be booked individually. However, to have a chance of winning the overall standings, you must take part in all three stages. The best women and men in the overall standings will receive prize money (see below).

Registration for 3RIDES Gravel Ostbelgien is done online via the portal of our partner Datasport Germany.

We are structuring registration for 3RIDES Gravel Ostbelgien 2026 in different phases. There will be no official discounts or special promotions beyond this.

Phase 1: March 2, 2026 to April 30, 2026

Phase 2: May 1, 2026 to June 30, 2026

Phase 3: July 1, 2026 to August 23, 2026

Yes, the maximum participant limit for the Gravel Stage Race is 950 participants.

Participation in the Gravel Stage Race at 3RIDES Gravel Ostbelgien is open to everyone born in 2007 or earlier.

Participation in the Gravel Rides is possible from the age of 18.
